Artist Statement
 
I believe in the visual sensuality and pleasure of old fashioned paintings and drawings that stand for authority of direct perception.
 
In my paitings, a delicate experimentation of liquidity in pigment based media becomes subject matter, color and rythm in spontaneity as subtext.

In prints and multimedia works on paper, I take a somewhat controlled and minimallistic approach. Using symbolistic imageries I try to give a spiritual or poetic feel to it.
 
I Alternate between two different strategies/mediums in my process that feed each other and give me balance and keep me from getting bored.
