Artist Statement
FacI work in painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking. My recent works have been in mixed media. I start either with monotypes, collages or collographs and finish them by painting or drawing with lithographic inks, oil pastels or oil sticks. I always work in series, developing a theme, but giving my attention to each piece individually. For me being an artist is a quest for self-discovery. It is a process of meditation, exploration, and self-awareness. It is the struggle to find my own creative spirit and language.
