Donnalee Dunne is a painter working in both traditional and digital media from her studio in CaliforniaÕs San Joaquin Valley. Her colorful abstracts and alternative landscapes, printed on Habotai silk, are inspired by the Sierra Nevada and other California settings where she lives. She began working on the computer as an art medium in the 1980s and has shown work in several galleries locally and internationally. Other specialties are textural oil paintings on woven canvas, and mixed media constructions. She teaches photography, design and computer art at California State University, Fresno, and writes for national and international magazines.
